Palagyi surname

(Just in case: I'm writing in english just for those who wouldn't understand it in hungarian.That's not a common language-unfortunately-and english should have known by every people,so...) I'm so glad you made this site! I'd like to know some more about my family.I'm not going to write my family tree in right now,because actually I don't have any documents with me.Just want to check if anyone still here...Send me an e-mail to angyalka1225@yahoo.com if does so! By the way I have 4 step-brothers!!!(They have sons) We are related by our father,so they also have this surname,and my father has 2 brothers (also with children).We have a big family over here!

You mean where do I exactly live? I was born in Szeged and I live in Akasztó (actually I rent a flat in the main city,but my parents still live in A.).
I'll start to make my family tree as soon as possible. Actually the further I've ever got is my grandparents' grandparents,so that's not much... My father told me that we might be related to some famous poet's family,but I forgot wich one is that. I'm gonna ask him again about it. I wish it would turn up that I am related to some king,or a pirate's blood's running in my veins... Do you know any of 'em? Not kidding,I am a dreamer...

When you are talking about poet... Did you check also web my page? There are some Palagyi's ... Maybe it is one of those

What I was trying to find out was place where your Palagyi part of family is coming from. If you go back some generations, people usually stayed at same place or very close to place where they were born. You can see in my family tree where my roots are and it seems pretty far from places that you mentioned.
